The LID equipment was designed to be integrated into furniture where there is a need to control the light intensity, without electrical controls or associated electronics. The rotating lid allows to control the amount of light that the luminaire emits to the outside, making the LID luminaire a simple yet elegant lighting solution. Conceptually it was developed for bedroom furniture but it can be used in other situations where it is required to control locally the intensity of the light emitted.
